It being the hot, fiery, medicinal herb that it is, there is surprisingly little information on the magical uses of Cayenne magickally in the literature, either in history or in pagan texts. It is bound to Mars and fire, and it offers protection, strength, motivation, courage, and increases the size of the individual aura.  No specifics are readily available on how to elicit these properties, but it is assumed that it can be drunk in Teas (for strength, motivation, and courage) or hung in the four corners of the house (for protection).  As for increasing the size of the aura, it's a hot herb, and as body temperature increases, it stands to reason that the aura would also increase.

Whatever you do magically, don't burn dried whole Cayenne peppers as an incense.  They pop loudly and emit vapors that induce sometimes violent sneezing.
